Last night at @hrbjj was insanely awesome! I got the WIN last night at the highrollerz celebrity open tournament! It was truly an honor to compete against the legendary @maclethal at purple belt level in the Gi at this tournament. This was an amazing experience for both of us and something I will never forget for the rest of my life. @maclethal was tough as nails and a great opponent with some real positive energy! My game plan went as planned as I was trying to stay away from his leg locks and get the sitting sweep, taking top and going for the submission. I cut 14 pounds for this fight and I felt healthy, quick and light! Hats off to @maclethal for taking the fight and having the balls to get in the cage to fight in front of an audience. He’s a true sportsman, an awesome human and I now consider him a new friend! A huge thanks to @hrbjj HighRollerz Bjj for giving me the opportunity to get on this Celebrity card and I can’t wait to see all the future jiujitsu events they put on!
