thank you! That’s very true! Sometimes writing feels like an uphill battle with a lot of investment and little reward, but I just have to remind myself I *am* getting better and learning all the time and no amount of effort is wasted 

honestly telling what is and isn’t an omen is kind of vague and definitely very personal to each person that receives one, so they might be. 

leaving her behind for an unknown that doesn't guarantee the safety of both of them in the long run is unfathomable to her. the horde is safe, and they know. how to protect themselves in it. with each other, they're able to survive in an environment that would destroy them on their own. having adora tell her she's leaving that comfort of familiarity for the right side of the war (which catra's always known, after all, the horde isn't subtle with their evil) means hearing that adora is essentially offering herself up to death in the unknown. in catra's mind, it means that adora saw her as a part of the horde in some way, instead of someone merely trying to survive in it. due to the fact that catra's hesitation to leave the comfort of a harsh familiarity wasn't truly acknowledged by adora, catra is left to comtemplate if adora every truly loved her. adora was her star. was she hers? no, bc adora isn't fixed to her point in the sky in the same way she's fixed on hers.
