His word is a mirror that allows us to see who we are completely. It will show us the good, the bad and the ugly that lies within us. When we see what and who we are will we have the mind to repent and change the bad and the ugly? Not hide it or ignore it. And will we choose to further develop the good and allow God to put us back on the potters wheel to make us over by molding us to be more like Christ. When I see who I am and I find those things in me that are not so good, Jesus doesn't have to put me back on the wheel because I'm already climbing onto it myself. My heart says I need to be made over Lord, there are some things in my life that I don't like about myself and I need to change it. Do we love God enough to be that transparent with ourselves? The word of God is powerful, it has the power to transform us and our lives into something we never could have imagined. "If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Every single act of our lives must come from the reality of who we are on the inside. I am hidden in Christ, I have put on the new self, I am God's chosen one, I am holy and I am loved by a holy and mighty King, who gave His life for me. He did it so He can forgive me and have a relationship with me, so that His peace can rule in my heart. He came to this world not only to die for me but also to experience pain and suffering, and all the while, He showed mercy and kindness, humility, meekness, patience, and most of all LOVE. He seeked to glorify the Father, not to please Himself, He was hidden in the Father all the way to the cross. And because of this I am now hidden in Him, and His love is why I want my life to glorify Him.
So I will seek the things that are above
I will put on compassionate heart, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience
I will forgive
I will put on love
I will let the peace of Christ rule in my heart
I will be thankful
I will let Let the word of Christ dwell in me
And whatever I do, in word or deed, I will do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father
THROUGH HIM.
