The two siblings are sitting on the bathtub quietly, Hiccie comfortably draped sideways over her brother's lap as Hiccup presses his lips over hers tenderly in the steamy room.
Jack opens the door completely, resting one shoulder against its frame as he watches with rapt attention, not wanting to interrupt them and break the intimacy of the moment. It doesn't matter how many times he has watched the siblings kissing; it's a view he could never grow tired about, and a view he'd never let any other person see. These moments of pure an utter affection between them are the ones he treasures the most, the ones that make his heart soar as the siblings positively melt in each other's arms with such unconditional passion.
Because for the three of them it has always been like that. Since the moment Jack met them so many years ago, he was capable of noticing the nature of Hiccup and Hiccie's relationship without any other words or explanations needed. They were like the two halves of one unique soul, encapsulated in two separate bodies, but Jack knew for sure that they couldn't be more closer than what they already were, not even if they had been born siamese. The accident was just a coincidence, just another reason in their lives for them to hold tighter into the other's arms. Hiccup needed Hiccie as much as Hiccie needed Hiccup, and Jack loved them too much to choose.
In fact, the possibility of 'choosing' just one of the siblings was a ridiculous one. It never crossed Jack's mind when they first started developing feelings for each others, because loving Hiccup consequently meant loving Hiccie and vice-versa, as they weren't complete without the other, and Jack always knew this. He accepted it without reservations, learning along the way the little things that made them so alike and so different at the same time, so unique in their own way, and feeling mesmerized by every single one of them.
The open door lets the cold air of the rest of the flat come into the bathroom, producing a shiver down Hiccup's spine that startles him off his sister's caresses on his neck. Jack finally approaches them, closing the door behind him and moving to the brim of the bathtub. He kneels as two pair of identical green eyes focus on him, although Hiccie's ones do so drowsily and for just a few instants, moving to her brother's chest instead. Hiccup pets her hair with wet hands, the reddish locks falling to her shoulder blades and tiny breasts, their tips dancing in the warm soapy water around them, before looking at Jack with a sheepish smile on his thin lips.
"She's about to start 'those days'", he says softly, although that doesn't prevent his sister from pouting childishly in the crook of his neck, "she wasn't feeling too well and we called it an early day."
Jack simply nods, the situation now something familiar after Hiccup's explanation. He moves to kiss the boy lovingly, cupping his freckled cheek and nibbling at his bottom lip slowly. Then Jack lowers his head a little, pressing another tender kiss to Hiccie's forehead, earning a little smile from the girl. "Hey darling", he coos amusingly, nipping at her nose and getting an actual laugh in return, "how do Chinese take-a-way and ice-cream sound for dinner?"
"Thank you", Hiccie says, voice muffled against Hiccup's wet skin, until she leaves the comfortable position to kiss Jack's lips shortly but gratefully. The three of them are fairly accustomed to Hiccie getting sick when her period is about to come around every month, so the boys always try to make her feel better by eating her most usually craved foods, watching her favorite movies or having extra-long cuddling sessions in their king-sized bed while soft music plays on the background. "Do you want to bathe with us?"
Jack smiles brightly and talks in a soft voice. "I'm going to get the food first, just keep the water warm until I come back, okay?" Hiccup nods at the request, giving Jack another kiss before the white-haired male disappears at the corridor.
A few minutes later Jack enters the bathroom again and undresses, getting into the tub with the twins and hugging them closely. Hiccup moves to was Jack's hair as the other boy takes his previous position, cradling Hiccie in his arms and rubbing soft circling motions against her hips and lower back. Pale skin is surrounded by freckled one and Jack hums contentedly.
When their food arrives Jack is the one who answers the door, still dripping wet and with only a towel on, while Hiccup dries his leg thoroughly and puts on his prosthetic before helping Hiccie out of the tub. The older twin wraps a bathrobe around her and then proceeds to air-dry his sister's hair carefully.
Jack puts on a pair of boxers and sets the table for them, grinning softly at the siblings when they enter the kitchen. They eat comfortably, bits of chatting here and there filling the room's silence, and when they're finished Jack offers to tidy up and urges the twins to go to their bed.
Kitchen cleaned and teeth brushed, the white-haired male makes it to the bed as well, finding Hiccie sound asleep in the middle of it and her brother playing with her hair slowly, a look of pure adoration in Hiccup's eyes. That green gaze turns to him instead, but the emotion behind them doesn't change a single bit as Jack creeps under the covers and presses his body flush against the younger twin.
"Rough day, uh?"
Hiccup nods with a tiny sigh, propping upper body on his elbow to watch Jack's face as they talk. "You know how it is. She was upset because she had to stop working after we just arrived at the shop." Hiccup moves closer to the frames of the two people he loves most in the world, a blissful sigh escaping his mouth when their shared body heat mingle together in a warm cocoon. "I tried to make her feel better, but you are much better than me at that."
"Don't be silly, the bath was a great idea. I'm sure she's feeling better by now", he encourages with a tiny smile.
"I hope so", Hiccup returns the gesture, feeling contentment making his limbs and eyelids heavier with each exhalation and inhalation. He curls up more against his sister's side and closes his eyes. "G'night Jack, love you."
Jack grins fondly, a chuckle escaping his lips at the adorable sight of the twins sleeping flushed tight despite the rather big mattress. The pale boy presses two kisses on two freckled foreheads, switching his nightstand's lamp off and curling up as well. "I love you too."
