This image right here. There is perhaps no better image that captures the essence of Halloween Horror Nights 2012 for me personally. Shrouded in darkness, clearly tired and struggling in front of the classic Mel's sign. 2012 was hard, I've told the respiratory distress story many times but I powered through. Weirdly enough I have some fond memories of that year, despite my health. I remember sitting in Mel's to rest after this picture was taken, eating chicken nuggets and talking about how much I loved The Dark Knight Rises, and how much I loved several of the houses that year. For a moment everything seemed not quite so bad
