you got all the common factors of mental illness and how they affect people who are naturally made... who are already made so fucked up by the environment and by the chemicals they unwittingly consume and the people who are around them. like, that's not even considering the biological components of mental illnesses, and there's already so many cases.

so then you have these people who aren't biologically made... they were constructed through science, through the work of men rather than by nature, with a technology that isn't nearly as perfect as it tends to boast to be. it's in these awkward stages of... still striving to be better and better and it falters and it's still progressing towards that satisfactory state of functioning...

and there's a lot of factors in that alone. there's getting the biology of the body right, there's genetics to work through, there's the personality to engineer, there's the development before birth and after, all the way to adulthood. there are entire systems that can and will fuck everything else up if it's even the slightest bit wrong, and that's not even taking the brain into affect. you get one hormone wrong and suddenly there's a barrage of symptoms to contend with. and with what they currently have, it's impossible to get it right.
