How do you think a meeting between Sunder and Tarn would go?

In a strict 1v1 Tarn would win, but I feel like Sunder's definitely going to get some advanced psychological damage in before that point

Ohhhoh Tarn's seen a lot of shit in the decepticons I bet, he's BEEN a lot of shit in the decepticons, but Sunder is still a shock for how unique a foe he is

Ough though if this is an alliance like the deal with Getaway or the Autobot Megatron Murder alliance, there's s lot more opportunities for little digs at one another, especially if Froid is still working with Sunder mmmm

thinking about jonny sims voicing jonathan sims and his mother voicing gertrude and his father voicing jurgen leitner. which like, doesnt matter, really, i know they were just trying to find people who were available and they all did a really good job voice acting and it wasnt a choice made for narrative parallels. but it still hits how gertrude & leitner were both jon’s predecessors in various ways, archivist or librarian, who had assistants, and who sent all their assistants to their deaths. from leitner who literally did not give a shit how many of them he killed, to gertrude who thought she was sacrificing some for the good of many. sending michael into the heart of the spiral so that she could tear it apart. too busy saving the world over and over to notice one of her assistants experimenting on another. (only to learn none of it even mattered, none of the rituals would have worked anyway.)

jon who, of the three of them, is the only one who transforms into something not human, who doesnt get to die a human death, who is forcibly made into an apotheosis. jon who questions and struggles and doesnt ever know what path to take or what genre he’s in, and while he hesitates other people die, or while he takes action he unknowingly frees the monster. jon was the one who said “i may not be able to trust my assistants by i won’t lose them.” jon had to listen to leitner say he “lost track” of how many innocent people he got killed, but jon never forgot anyone he lost, even his childhood bully.

and then both gertrude’s and leitner’s voices are stolen and warped in the unknowing. like. the stranger uses what are essentially jon’s narrative parental figures to degrade him for the choices he’s made, to mock him for caring about human life. do you understand me. he just never stopped caring. he put a knife in jonah magnus’s throat and he said “this is for tim and sasha.” guy who’s 100% heart and feeling and love but he was formed by people who are cold and calculating and ruthless. i have to lay down.
