I’m a freshie taking AP Bio, HGAP, and PreAP precal and I’m lowkey freaking out. Any advice?

My biggest piece of advice is remember your self love and self worth!!
Mushiness aside, make sure to get into study habits early in the year. Create schedules, checklists, and organize your work space. Create weekly time blocks to study and STAY COMMITTED. That’s definitely the hardest part, but it’ll pay off in the end.
When it comes to APHG and AP Bio (and most science and social study courses), get into the habit of taking good notes. Any method you’re comfortable with will do, as long as it’s effective. My personal favorite method of note-taking is doing basic bullet points in class and then summarizing them in Cornell notes later at home.

I've gotta say...that AP exam wasn't as hard as I thought. But I will also add that I probably got a 3. Apparently I skipped an essay question and didn't notice until two minutes were left on the clock.
Recap of this week in HGAP
So let’s go over what happened this week in HGAP. We…
-Discussed how feminism is stupid and how one they get what they want they will continue to complain
-Discussed how reverse racism exists because back when jobs would only hire PoC because of a law saying they needed an equal percentage of PoC and whites so PoC couldn’t be denied jobs
-Spent a whole day on “Gender Identity and Sexuality” and just talked about how feminism is wrong (see first note)
-And tried to ignore any mention of Mike Brown, Leelah Alcorn, and Eric Garner
This is why I hate the school systems in Texas. The whole time I was given weird looks by the teachers because we were discussing gender and transgender people discrimination came up not even once. I faceplanted on the table at the mention of reverse-racism and the teacher looked offended. While they talked about how feminism is wrong because fair does not mean equality, I could only think ‘maybe I would have a fair chance at a good life if transgender people were equal to cisgender people in the eyes of society. Instead I get Christian/Catholic white, heterosexual cisgender people who have never seen discrimination complaining about how their lives are unfair because once they got hurt or offended because a feminist said something mean about them or how their life was so hard because life didn’t go perfectly smoothly for them. I have seen more white privilege being ignored here than anywhere else. The ironic thing: this is also the most diverse class in terms of ethnicity and views that I have ever been in.
