I might be biased because my favorites get the best sprites, case in point, here's Anasui with Diver Down...
AND AS A BONUS Here's a bunch of alternate colors for him too! Wow!

i think about Heritage For The Future alot. As both a fighting game fan and a JoJo fan it's so interesting to me.
Being a piece of pre anime JoJo media, the way the characters animate and move is completely different then most of the stuff that comes after the anime codifies the way these characters look in animated media.
That isnt to say the anime handles it badly, far from it, I think that as the official anime the way they did it is the best way to translate the manga's wild poses to an animated medium. But the JoJo games that come after the anime are clearly taking major inspiration from the anime, instead of trying out other ways of representing the characters, it's all a bit samey.
HFTF is so smoothly animated, it gives these characters life in a way that is decidedly different from the anime, it's really something cool. While it is less accurate to the source material on a visual level it embodies the feel of the wild and strange way Araki does things
As a fighting game fan I love how unique it all is, the systems, the way stands work, it is a fighting game very much unlike most others, and made by Capcom, it feels great to play.
Really hope that at some point Namco and Capcom can work together to get a modern rerelease, or if a boy can dream here, a sequel
I think if another serious Jojo fighter ever came out, it would be so cool to have Arc System works make it, I'd love to see the JoJo style beautifully re-created in 3d like they did for Dragon Ball, but I know that's a pipe dream lol.
dios insane out of it breathing with his whole body and deranged biohazardous self expression vs his stand not emoting being even covered by a helmet and jotaro & splat are just the opposite of all this.. so amazing
