And Jamie can’t really understand it. He never has. The way he does everything wrong, keeps falling through the floor into nothing because he never learns where the weak spots are, where not to step, and they’re still there to throw him a rope, always. He remembers, very suddenly and with such clarity, that all that time they fought that monster, all that time they spent scared and bruised and bleeding and hopeless, he never really did feel like he didn’t have something safe, wouldn’t always have it. He thinks (and can’t believe he thinks it), I’d fight it again if it was with them. I’d fight anything in the world. I’ve already won, anyway.

I decided it would be nice to rewatch Hanazuki until we get to the end of season 1. Tomorrow, I'll make a post about how many episodes that should be watched at the end of each week. Realistically, this rewatch should be 3 weeks long. I would have done this in January but I was a little busy. I'm not expecting you all to join along with this rewatch but it would be nice for us all to do something together. This is all on Reddit.
