I know this stars Ioan Gruffud who I do love so I may check it out when I have some time. Never seen/read anything about the story/plot though, I had no idea he was immortal. That’s interesting! Thanks for the rec! :)

Well, at least, that’s the way I like to think about it, and usually the way I like to write about it.

But there’s a flip side to that too: perfect is boring. Life has its ups and downs. Kind of inherently, I mean. And I lovelovelove to write short pieces about how ridiculously happy they are, but I skip over a lot of stuff when I do that.

Maybe they lose the bid on the house they wanted. Maybe Rose cuts her hand on broken glass and two of her fingers don’t bend right for a couple of years after. Or maybe the first thing the metacrisis Doctor does is get appendicitis, and he ends up with an unreasonably upset Rose at his hospital bedside in Bergen and a pocked scar on his belly that stays with him for the rest of his life.
