Thank you for the reminder!

The concept for this character is that they're an alien plushie! I feel like there's a theme of all the Digital Circus characters/members being inspired by toys. Could be based on the Aftonsparv from IKEA (which is sadly being taken out of their stock and I'm so bummed about it 😭).

Unlike the Aftonsparv, however, my character doesn't have a mouth! Unlike Zooble, though, they can't speak. When they first arrived at the Circus, they arrived completely naked, just a base. It was hard for them to interact with the other members of the Circus, so they just kept to themself for a while.

Their name is either Haeiyu (ㅎㅐㅣㅠ, Korean) or Heiyuu (ヘイユー, Japanese) and is supposed to sound like, "Hey, you!" I might change the spelling to Heyou as a shorthand. The idea is that because they couldn't speak, Caine didn't give them a name, or they couldn't choose a name for themself. I think Jax was the one who gave them their name by shouting, "Hey, you!" to get their attention, and eventually they became known as Heyou (starting to really like that spelling).

Once settled in the Circus, they found some clothes to wear (they didn't like being naked) and also a wig (didn't like being bald). They also got a hold of a cane (I'm a cane user so I wanted to give them a cane 🩷) which they use to communicate through Morse code by tapping. I like to think that they had to teach themself Morse code to find a way to communicate, but more often than not they just use gestures. I think Zooble and Gangle might be the only ones who try to learn Morse code for their sake, but it's sometimes hard for them to keep up with Heyou's messages.

I'm still deciding on Heyou's pronouns, but I'm leaning towards neopronouns—xe/xem like myself or something else entirely. I like to think that Heyou is very smart and good at puzzles, but tends to get ignored because they're mute. So sometimes they'll just be in the background of adventures, solving what they can while the others are arguing. I like to think that they're very small and the shortest out of everyone. Sometimes they crawl into Kinger's pillow fort just to be with him, but Kinger usually doesn't notice that they're there.

Em uma das situações mais difíceis que eu já passei, conversei com minha vó sobre as coisas que me aflingiam... Primeiro ela riu, como quem pergunta "você tá sofrendo por isso?" e eu fiquei sem jeito.

Mas ela terminou dizendo que existem três palavras que regem a vida, de acordo com as vivências dela. São elas: respeito, educação e limite.

Depois, sentada na beira de uma praia muito distante de casa e pensando em muitas situações difíceis onde já me enfiei e vi pessoas que amo enfiadas, entendi o que minha vó tinha dito.

Respeito, sobretudo, por nós mesmas. Entender que antes de qualquer coisa, devo respeitar minhas verdades e vontades.

Educação, porque degrau nenhum a gente sobe só, e é com educação, segundo minha vó, que a gente constrói relacionamentos e aprende sobre os limites das outras pessoas.

E limite, pra saber até onde devo ir e a hora certa de recuar.

Respeito, educação, limite.

A essas palavras, eu só acrescentaria uma: amor.

Dessa noite, eu esperava tudo.

Exceto descobrir que o amor que eu jurava ter enterrado à 7 palmos na verdade ainda eletrizava toda a minha pele. Eu só queria ver no que ia dar, ver ele de novo, sentir ele dentro de novo. Talvez ter a chance de me despedir direito do amor. Mas quando ele chegou, como quem nunca tivesse saído, e quando ele entrou e me mostrou que aquilo era único. Pele com pele me dizendo que o amor nunca foi embora, pele com pele me dizendo que meu lugar era ali, pele com pele me dizendo que aquilo nunca deveria ter acabado, porque nunca terminou. Quando olhei pra ele ofegante e tudo que ele conseguiu dizer foi "que saudade que eu tava de você, morena"... Perdi tudo ali.
