👿 What trope do you hate / avoid at all costs?

unless they’re just like. total crack fics that are supposed to be funny, i avoid most porn industry/strip club AUs. if they’re not written by sex workers or at least someone who listens to them, there tends to be a lot of gross stereotyping of the kind of people who do sex work and how miserable they are and how terrible it is to be doing it. i guess it’s more accurate to say i hate the “stripper/porn performer is saved from doing sex work by the wealthy love interest who just wants the best for them” trope. it rubs me the wrong way lmao

🤷 What thing that your fandom loves do you just not “get”?

hmmm for ikerev? the way luka is infantilized a lot of the time and regarded as too pure for this world. honestly, i think it’s contributed a lot to why he doesn’t appeal to me as a suitor.

😭 Has a fic ever left you inconsolable?

oh my gosh, absolutely. there’s this yuri! on ice fic (which, ironically, is a VERY WELL DONE camboy AU) that just destroyed me. it depicts yuuri’s struggle with anxiety and esteem issues so well that reading that fic for the first time was like a lance through the heart. the characterizations (even the side characters) were so well rounded too!! i don’t think any other fic has ever made me laugh or cry as much as that one did u_u

🌍 What is your dream AU?

this is probably just because i’m in the middle of binging haikyuu rn, but you know what sounds really great? an ikerev sports AU or just a modern high school AU in general. i can’t get that cg with fenrir knee juggling the soccer ball out of my head 🤔

waves i still rec arcana! the keys for the chapters are fewer and it takes a while to replenish but the romances are. hm. Not Quite Like the cybird games (ikesen, ikerev)

This is from Stay, that Saeran/Mc recoveryish fic I did that was uhm, basically My afterend for Saeran.

You couldn’t always be there for him. You had a life of your own. Job, family, friends. As much as he wanted to see your smiling face, he made sure that you spent time away from him. Saeran knew that if he so much as hinted that he wasn’t feeling well, you’d drop everything to help him. And he couldn’t burden you with that forever.

This isn’t a Wonderful Paragraph, and by now I would rewrite this differently if I had a chance, but I still like this random paragraph because I was hoping it would uhm….make a point for some people…

I see in fanfics/otomes/romance genre things in general that, often, it’s not stressed that in relationships, you do need time to yourselves…It’s not really good to be clingy with each other 24/7 and have each other as your only coping tool/mech/whatever. You need to build help from outside sources often (as an example, therapy and medication at times), yes, but it’s bad to like…have your whole relationship with someone based on them basically playing as a therapist with benefits…? 

I’m not sure if I’m making a lot of sense… TvT 

I wanted the paragraph to point out that, uhm, it’s perfectly fine for Mc to be helping Saeran out like this, but if a relationship is only our mc being some makeshift therapist, that’s not really healthy to do, and that I hope people would keep that in mind for IRL relationships. That’s why I have Saeran making sure that if its something he knows he can work through on his own (and with his therapist), he knows to keep in mind that Mc can’t always be there 24/7, and to respect that she has a life of her own.

1. this is weird but i always like taking my ridiculous number of pillows and making a little pillow wall around myself whenever i’m writing in bed. it’s cozy and helps me concentrate!!

2. i play with my ears when i’m tired or anxious. i’ve done it since i was little!!!

3. there is nothing i don’t procrastinate on, whether it’s something i want to do or not D;

angst! just, any kind of angst. i love to hurt and i love to make my friends hurt >:)

5. How did you get started creating?

my mom and my dad are both talented artists and they ignited my interest in drawing when i was little. in third grade, i really started to excell in language arts, and i developed an interest in creative writing. i still have my second place ribbon from my fourth grade UIL writing contest ;__;
