Apparently, there's an anime parody of "Bahamut Lagoon" and "Live A Live". There's also many other games thrown in the mix, too.

But in these two cases the parodies are spoiler-y as hell.

The show is called "Heybot", it was broadcasted in 2016-2017. I couldn't understand what it's about, but I liked it nonetheless. Apparently, it's some sort of a kid show with a lot of references and parodies. I wonder if kids are supposed to understand these references, however.

Episode 31 of "Heybot" is dedicated to a lot of gaming references. From "Super Mario Brothers" and "Lode Runner" to "Romancing SaGa" and "Resident Evil". There are also occasional nods to different movies and anime shows. Who'd have thought of combining The Terminator and a Super Mario villain together?

Who'd have thought that we can have Byuu (okay, a parody version of him) talking?

Oersted (again, a door-holding parody of him) doesn't count, because he was talking in the stage plays.

Fans did a recolour of him and parody!Streibough, so you can be sure it was an intentional nod, and not a bucket-headed coincidence.
