I’m reading Book Thief and I’m really liking it. That’s all. :)

I wish I had bought some fireworks, cause I’d be waking the entire area up with some sweet sweet revenge about now.

There’s this second in between thinking something and doing it, even just like...flicking a light switch or something. And you’re just hit with the realisation that nothing you do makes any sense, even if you say it does, and you could just as well run away Right Now. But obviously thats effort so you just flip the switch and keep on Not Thinking, and feeling just a tiny bit like you aren’t real. I keep getting stuck there.

I’ve certainly had better evenings. I carelessly got the oil from poblano pepper seeds on my hands (both of them), so spent an hour or so clutching frozen peas and washing my hands with oil and dish soap to quell the burning. My already dry and cranky hands are going to be in a sad state tomorrow. THEN, I spilled beer in my bed -- I’m an adult, I really should know better than to drink non-water things in bed, especially when I only have one set of sheets. But nope. Also, my brain won’t shut off. So, here we are.
