Oh boy, where do I even begin?
First of all, you’re awesome. Just in general, getting that out there.
You’re one of the most thorough, elaborate people I have ever met. You will learn everything you can about something, use that to piece together implications and puzzling off of it so seamlessly that I often can’t tell at first where one stops and the other begins. This goes for works of fiction, politics, social situations, just about anything.
Related to that, you’re a very quick-thinking person. I’ll just have heard about something, and you’ll have an informed opinion with three cited sources and already have acted on your stance for the matter.
You are strong in every way I can think of. You can not only keep yourself steady in times of uncertainty, but you readily carry others with you, pressing on because you know the only way out of the mess is to keep moving. Admittedly, it sometimes looks from here like it would be easier for you to move on without trying to support someone else, but it’s like you’re so used to being there for them that you’ve forgotten you can do it without anyone else’s burden.
But I’m not about to begrudge you for wanting to help. It’s very much in your nature, and I admire that. You always want to help, even if it’s just wishing you could from a safe distance.
Your writing is fantastic. You have such vivid descriptions that every detail just comes alive, enveloping the reader right into the setting. It really shows that you can put yourself in your characters shoes, as the style matches their mood as well.
You are an amazingly well established person, with the fastest recovery time of anyone I’ve met as a sidenote. I respect you a lot, and hope to be as staunch a pillar in your eyes someday, too. You are great, and you do great things, Toady.
And your art is great!! Even the sketches you’ve shown me that you don’t plan on finishing simply floor me.
