With every “!!” i get, I’ll introduce you to an OC!

Do you remember when you asked me like 42 years ago to do this?? Cuz this has been haunting me for a while and I FINALLY had time to figure out which OC to introduce write a response!

This is Rayan, my middle-aged assassin Arisen for the game Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen! Fun story: we're not with the times, I played her on an XBox 360!

This is the one right? I think it is XD After a long day of pestering she just enjoys a night under the stars, loungin‘ in her leaves that i totally would’ve put more effort into but eeehhhhh frustration from slow computer wouldn’t allow it, oh well!

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw.

As far as just anything? Backgrounds. Dude I SUCK at perspective.

But if we're talking specifically characters, uhh...Xiq's horns stump me quite a bit. I can never get them the exact same every time, and they're tricky in the round. Is this the reason why most characters probably don't have horns? Most likely, yeah. Do i already have other characters with horns, and plan to make more in the future? Also yes.

Okie doke! (Ngl this was kinda hard, I have a soft spot for them all)

So one of my favorites is the big guy on the left.

His name is Fritz. He's the main character's best friend (the other dude named Mike), they've known each other since middle school. Mike was the first and only real friend Fritz ever made. Fritz is a goofball. He constantly ribs Mike, especially when it comes to a mutual friend that Mike has a severe crush on. He's pretty laid back but he doesn't trust people easily. In fact, he kind of assumes the worst of them until proven otherwise. For the most part he's an open book to the people he likes, but he has a couple things he wouldn't even tell them (for example I don't think he knows how to drive but they live in town and walk everywhere so it never came up). He's also pretty smart and good at figuring things out. If there's anything he doesn't know, he knows a guy.

These two are characters that my fiancee and I had for a long time. He and Mike were originally FNAF ocs. We always thought it was funny that Fritz was the security guard ONLY for the custom night, so in the context of the game he came in and immediately futzed around with the animatronics enough to get fired. We tried to base his personality around that. But yknow time went on and we got out of the fandom so we brought the characterizations with us. Now we're making a story for them called Crooked Teeth! We kept the first names as a sort of homage to their roots tho.

Ah, hello friendly anon! I must admit, if this is for the ask game, I've never actually watched/read Death Note. I'm a fraud and have mostly learned about the series through Tumblr memes, most of which are about Light, L, and Ryuk. I've seen pictures of her around but I know next to nothing about her. But based on general vibes, some explaining from my gf, and whatever Google Images can tell me without spoiling the series, let's see what I can do!

Do I like them: Aesthetically, yes! I know very little about her personality!

5 good qualities: Really cool fashion sense, uhh....she has that vibe of 'oh I'm cute but I s2g if you try anything' which is one of my favorite character tropes, she looks like her eyes change colors through different animated versions of the series so that's fun, she has a cute face, and overall she kinda got girlboss vibes.

3 bad qualities: I don't see a lot about her so either she's super underappreciated or people don't like her, she looks hard to draw with all the lace and stuff she wears, and she's in a series I haven't seen. Are these petty takes on bad qualities? Yes. But they're all I have to go on.

Favorite episodes/etc.: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh episode 15.

OTP: Misa and....L. Why not.

NOTP: Misa and Ryuk. These are like...the only characters I know.

Headcanon: She...uhhh......i have no idea. She ebil, the way Light is. Look at her and tell me that she's a law-abiding citizen.

I'm.....so sorry. I literally know nothing about Misa but I am curious, and I've wanted to get into this series since like...junior high. Haven't had a chance to tho. Who knows? This may be what pushes me to watch it. Might compare what I wrote to what I watch and reblog with reactions or something idk.

O-oh okay!!

Uhh...First things that come to mind are those moments of humanity that transcend culture and all, just people being people, having fun, helping each other and all that. It's heartwarming.

Animals, which tends to be people's pets. And also sharks like... a disproportionate amount, they're my favorite animal.

That kind of weather where it's the tail end of winter and you can almost feel it getting warmer and the air is crisp and you get that surge of energy? Yeah that's the good stuff.

The moments when you're working on a story and pieces just fall into place. Like that goofy quirk you gave your OC, that as you work on their story the reason they have that quirk just clicks.

What is your character's voice in terms of speed, pitch, and/or inflection? Do they have an accent or use slang? Do they have an extensive vocabulary?

ANYWHO! Character voice! I’m gonna pick Xiq for this one, ‘cause his is the only voice for which I have any sort of ideas.

Xiq’s a quick-talker. Kinda high-pitched and nasally. He has the sort of inflection and cadence of a 1920′s radio personality despite his story taking place in 1896, but he has the personality of a used car salesman in that sleazy don’t-trust-him kinda way. He does like to use slang, especially the ones with meaner implications.

As far as the extent of his vocabulary, he doesn’t tend to use a lot of big words in his own speech, but he understands more than he lets on. He’s not very eloquent, but he can hold a conversation with people that are. Which makes sense. It’s his job.
