Jumpscares aren't even actual scares, imho. They're the body's natural reaction to an unexpected noise/thing jumping out at you. You jump, you go into fight or flight for a second, and then assess that it was just another stupid jumpscare. They startle you, not scare you. And that's pretty much all this movie has scare-wise: jumpscares.

Also my parents when they saw it in theaters just laughed their assess off because apparently I also did the thing with the water having to be just right and baby monitors normally make those noises if you have a microwave running or a computer nearby.

Even the slightly scary stuff, the creeperman lovebaby aliens themselves aside, wasn't actually that scary.

Romania holds the strongest of nopes. England’s still got a grudge on Russia for screwing up his magic… I have no idea about Norway. None whatsoever.

They wrote something for laughs and the shreds of the 'invitation' are scattered somewhere among the shreds of Iceland's invitation, probably under a bed or cabinet or some other particularly dusty area of England's main house.

That, and the fact that they're cliquey snobs.
