Last night I worked my last shift as full time with my partner that I’ve been with for almost two years. Our job is not a typical job, we’re with each other most days of the week for 12+ hours a shift so you really get to know each other, resent each other, appreciate each other but most importantly take care of each other. We’ve seen and been in situations that most people never in their lives have to experience, and we’ve gotten to the point that when there’s a critical situation and it seems like all hell has broken loose we can just read each other’s mind on what to do. I’m so appreciative that I had a permanent partner like this, your job really is affected by the people you work with and because of the person next to me in these emergent situations I 100% love my job and always knew that I had back up if and when needed and vise versa. Thank you for kickin ass with me and letting me feel like a big person.🤘🏼Promise I’ll pick up shifts w you when possible.
