A little drip between writing & editing. . Boxing is my current drug of choice. It's fun, challenging, and equalizing in a lot of ways. It's a great winter alternative to being outside all the time. This is me. In the basement that I rent out. Wearing my shirt. It's not much but it's been almost a year to this journey. I def haven't built this alone. I had so much help from my friends. I have a lot of new followers. And I don't think I've done a good job of communicating who I am. So. Hi. I'm Herstun. I am a 30-something mega tomboy born and raised outside of the ATL. When I was 8 years old my mom let me read ”The Diary of Anne Frank”. I learned about the Holocaust, tragedy, loss, and love. And I've been studying humanity ever since. Three fun facts: 1. I'm sure that heaven is lined with sunflowers. 2. I really just wanna wear jeans and t-shirts everywhere, all the time. 3. I'm completely scatterbrained in a very disciplined manner and I really enjoy taking pictures of things about me and giving them stories. Basically, I'm different. Wild even. Definitely a walking paradox. (Sometimes reading too much is a set back. More on that later though.) But I'm here as your host of Herstun FM Readio, and to document my trials and tribulations on the way to writing my first book. So. You can expect nature, poetry, art and all kinds of book reviews along with the stories of real cool people I meet along the way. Learning from people is my favorite thing to do.
