#hers is not

This past Christmas (which I do not celebrate as a religious holiday anymore but rather as a familial/social holiday) my favorite sibling actually did the coolest thing for me. They know that I don’t support JKR under any circumstances… like I don’t pay to watch the movies, I use the discs bought for another sibling ages ago and pirate the damaged ones. I won’t even buy her books or play her video games. Yes I go to Universal, however, I do so under a special pass my family can get because of my father’s military service. I do not pay the $100/ticket fee because this a year round pass that you renew every year for only $200 a ticket. (Also for my fellow military families, it’s actually pretty good if you want to nab it but note that the best holidays are your block out dates because theme parks suck). I won’t buy any of the books from retailers, I only will thrift them but that’s getting harder to find. On that note, my favorite sibling found my Christmas present over a year ago when their neighbor was giving away books: three Harry Potter stories (The Cirsed Child, a cookbook and one about Grindelwald I believe). So not only did I get books I thought I’d only ever get to read once, but they were free so JKR doesn’t get any additional profit from me and I can continue to insult the woeful reality of whatever they did to Harry’s poor children in The Cursed Child. Who names their kid after one of their biggest haters like seriously??? Anyways shout out to my sibling for getting me new books to insult and analyze without benefiting the trashy woman who wrote them.
