Here Jem my adult male frilled dragon who is 3ft long and weighs 1.8 Kg (4lbs). So in this picture I’m soaking the tip of his tail in diluted betadine because he damaged it (most likely from whipping things or just smacking it on furniture in the cage). So anyone here considering a frilled dragon and currently owns there cousin the bearded dragon well let me tell you... They are terrible pets if ur looking for something that calm, easy, low maintenance, inexpensive they are the complete polar opposite of these adjectives. They are very energetic especially for reptiles, need ALOT!!!!! Of room. They just vacuum up food. They also get to a good size. Like anywhere from large bearded dragon to small iguana depending. However they are not aggressive animals and are hilariously, entertaining, and display surprising intelligence and sweet personalities at times. Even tho I am some time cover in scratch marks from there sharp and long claws they are so rewarding!!!! Trust me I own 2 and for over 3 years so I can definitely give a legitimate opinion. #frilleddragon #frilledlizards #frilledlizardsofinstagram #reptiles #lizards #Chlamydosauruskingii #Chlamydosaurus #mybabies #awesome #herps #herpetology #herp #herptologist #herpfauna #herpfreak
