silksong and deltarune aren't really at all alike as works in any form but now that silksong is out, i think it's fun to compare them as sequels to very strong original games that did/are doing excellent jobs continuing to work with the ideas developed and creative techniques used by those original games in part because the creators were able to put their experience to meaningful use and work with less constraints
