celia; feels like a timid blossom that slowly opens itself to the world, daring perhaps to hold a breath - release, then, and life comes to earth like suddenly, in the batting of an eye. she’s strikes of pink and soft red all across fields and over rivers, the sound of cicadas and summer scents, a cricket orchestra in the middle of the night when sonnets are sung by lonely toads to serenade the moon. she’s the wind that lifts a skirt by the hems and then lays it back down, sore feet and polaroid pictures hanging from the wall to make a string of memories over a dreaming mind.
