Next stop at Hermioni, a small town pine-covered and with not even one tourist shop in sight around the old port. Past the marina is a beautiful coastal walk, with benches to sit and take in the view and tiny swimming spots only accessible through stairs leading directly to the water. A midnight swim or an early morning will change your day and mood, that is for sure. #Kaboz restaurant has an unbelievable view and relatively good food, and the terrace next door is a great spot for sunset watching and drinks. Weβre quite tired after a wonderful day anchoring in the middle of the Bay of #Dokos island, during which we lunched pasta onboard, lulled by the waves and perfect winds. Since mira and rana used wine instead of olive oil after mixing up the two bottles, all of us end up napping deeply and happily on deck, then reading and chatting until departure time. Next morning we have the unfortunate idea of ordering nutella crepes at a place where it took- seriously- more than one hour and a half to prepare our order, one crepes at a time, one coffee at a time; continuous visits from each of us to the kitchen to check on the status of the simple, stupid, banal crepes statuses did not seem to pressure the lady cook. It was a real test of patience and a tremendous personnal effort not to ruin my day, knowing that we had just lost the chance of a phenomenal swim because when the last crepe standing arrived at the finish line, it was already time to leave.
