So last night we visited the Old Operating Theatre Museum at London Bridge. I would thoroughly advise you to go, especially to a night time event. The museum is a cornucopia of ye olde medical devices and apothecary herbs, bottles and magical cures. There's so much history on the site of the museum and the operating theatre itself was used as the first for women in England. St Thomas's hospital stood in that site until the 1860s when the railway line was built from Charing Cross to London Bridge. I need to write a blog post about this. Probably one of the more unusual events I've been to but worth every second of being there.
