             hand  rests  on  the  upper  part  of  his  trailer’s  doorframe,  door  hitting  his  back  as  eddie  tries  to  keep  the  conversation  out  of  the  earshot  of  his  sleeping  uncle.   ‘ don’t  tell  me  cheerleading  extraordinaire  brooke  davis  was  worried  about  the  freak  in  the  trailer  park, ’   knowing  eyes  land  on  the  brunette.  they  aren’t  strangers  ;  she’s  bought  from  him  plenty  of  times.  which  means  her  visit  wasn’t  necessarily  a  surprise,  though  they  did  usually  meet  when  the  night  could  cover  his  sales.   ‘ as  you  can  see,  i  am  not  dead.  far  from  it  -  very  alive,  at  the  moment, ’   brow  raises  curiously  at  her.   ‘ if  you’re  here  for . . .  ulterior  motives,  we’ll  have  to  take  this  conversation  elsewhere, ’   the  last  thing  eddie  needed  was  to  get  his  uncle  in  trouble  for  selling  drugs  on  his  property.     @heracrowned.

Eddie  looked  down  to  his  hands,  fingers  placing  with  the  rings  on  them  before  he  picked at  the  skin around  his  nails.  A  bad  habit.  A  way  of  venting  his  frustration  without  having  to  it  verbally  because  that  was  easier.  “ Yeah..  yeah,  I’ll  be  fine.  Just  perfect. ”   The  words  were  muttered  through  gritted  teeth  as  he  continued  to  stare  at  his  hands  -  that  was  easier  than  lying  to  somebodies  face.  He’d  never  been  a  good  liar.  “ You  don’t  have  to  be  here,  Brooke.  I’m  gonna  be  fine,  ‘ Eddie  the  freak ’  is  always  fine. ”
