Today is my Daddy’s 85th birthday. I contemplated posting because he doesn’t have social media, but I wanted to honor my Dad. He has been a wonderful husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend to so many. My Dad always told me that with long life would God satisfy him, and God honored that. Daddy is fighting the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, but 7 years later, he’s still here and able to tell us he loves us. That means everything. So today, I honor my Daddy and publicly thank him for being the best Dad ever. I miss our talks and all of his wisdom.
