1. do you know how you want the story to end when you start, or are you just stumbling through the figurative wilderness hoping to find a road?
most of the time i have a pretty rough outline in my head/on a separate doc somewhere; it mostly highlights the general trajectory i want for the story, with the occasional set piece moments i'm completely set on.
anything past that is subject to change-- the music room scene in the sticky notes comic (which i am counting as a 'fic' in the sense it has a continued narrative) had 4 versions i went through in a span of 2 years before i was happy with it and was finalized.
62. what’s the weirdest reason you’ve ever shipped something?
not that avid of a shipper, and really the "weirdest" reason boils down to "my blorbo deserves Nice Things! [ships them romantically/platonically with someone she never interacted with]"
