Hey so…how about both. I miss Edmund and Hedwig
Oh, i have things in the work for both of them! Not exactly that idea but i do have hed and ed in my drafts<3
Hedwig:
”You got me a gift?” she gasps. ”You’re so sweet! Can I open it now?” ”If you want”, you reply and shrug. ”Don’t expect too much. As a student I don’t have much money and even if I had, do you know how hard it is to buy something for someone who already owns everything? Hedwig gestures with her hand, as if that doesn’t matter. ”I don’t care”, she says. ”You could give me a half eaten apple and I’d savour it.” Especially since your spit would be on it, but she doesn’t say that out loud. She opens the small package. You barely have the courage to look at her reaction. Hedwig can get whatever she wants with the snap of her fingers, a real life Veruca Salt—but nicer, of course. You had to give her something she couldn't buy, and something she’d have use for. So you made her a bracelet. The glass beads come from an arts and craft store. You’ve picked both her favorite color and the color of her eyes—pink and a brown shifting in green and yellow. ”Oh”, she says. ”You made this for me?”
Edmund:
You’re not sure how he wandered off into the pond, probably because he had been drinking with some guys from his court all evening. You went looking for him once you got suspicious, but didn’t expect to find him in the pond. For a second you were sure he had drowned, but when you got closer and saw that he was floating on his back, it almost felt worse. I’d he hadn’t drowned, the water would take him out by hypothermia. The first flowers of spring hasn’t even popped up yet. And there he was, drenched in the pond for who knows how long. You’ve had his head in your lap for a long time, have put your coat over him to keep him somewhat. Does he deserve that kind of niceness? Edmund groans slightly. His first noise since you pulled him up. “Edmund?” you whisper. “Ed? Can you hear me?”
