"Ookay, c'mon."

This wouldn't be the first time Charlotte would help Tony back to his rooms-their rooms?-after one of the parties the Avenger's put on at the compound, and she doubted it would be the last. At least she managed to get to him before he started undressing like the last time.

They hadn't been seeing each other long; hardly long enough to really even say they were seeing each other, but...there was something there. She had started out as SHIELD's middle-man between the Avengers and the agency, as well as Tony's assistant, and the chemistry between her and the inventor had been undeniable. Which was why she hadn't minded being the one to help him out of the main party area before he did something to embarrass himself.

The two of them were a lot alike. Workaholics, caffein addicts, sarcastic beyond belief. That's why they got along so well, and why they had started to dip their toes into this strange relationship-yet-not-relationship. They could be bouncing ideas off each other one minute before diving headfirst into a near raunchy flirt-fest for the next minute or so, then go right back to talking shop. It was weird, but it worked, and Charlotte had come to really enjoy working with the smartest Avenger.

Tony was almost like a rag doll as she guided him to the elevator, stumbling over his feet and making that high pitched giggle he always had whenever he had too much to drink. She couldn't help chuckling with him, propping him up against the elevator wall so she could press the correct floor's button.

"Oh! Nope, come here."

He had started to slide sideways, but Charlotte managed to catch him before he hit the ground, and threw one of his arms around her shoulders, wrapping her arm around his middle to keep him secured.
