⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆  𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕒  𝕨𝕒𝕤  𝕠𝕗𝕥𝕖𝕟  𝕠𝕟𝕖  to  keep  herself  closed  off  from  everyone  around  her  in  an  effort  to  keep  them  safe,  mind  plagued  by  the  memories  of  the  people  she'd  harmed  by  accident  with  her  powers.  that  wasn't  the  case  with  the  cajun  though.  there  was  just  something  about  him  that  set  her  mind  at  ease  and  allowed  her  to  just  be  herself  instead  of  the  cold  scarlet  witch  people  had  come  to  expect.  he  didn't  fear  her  and  she  didn't  fear  him,  it  was  refreshing.

       𝕒  𝕤𝕚𝕝𝕜𝕪  𝕝𝕒𝕦𝕘𝕙  𝕝𝕖𝕗𝕥  rosy  lips  as  she  looked  over  at  remy,  a  rare  light  dancing  in  her  light  green  hues.  wanda  walked  towards  him  with  nothing  but  confidence  in  her  stride  and  didn't  stop  until  she  was  fully  in  gambit's  space.  ❝  or  maybe  you  should  just  skip  to  the  kissing,  згодан  (handsome).  why  do  i  need  to  beat  you  for  us  to  enjoy  each  other?  you  could  kiss  me  right  now...  ❞  the  romani  paused  as  she  trailed  her  hands  down  the  cajun's  chest,  her  heavily  accented  voice  coming  back  to  life  after  a  moment.  ❝  and  then  we  could...  see  where  it  takes  us.  ❞

"You   look   really   strong!"   A   thoughtful   hum   left   rosette   lips   as   she   gave   the   stranger   a   quiet   look   over.   "Are   you   .....   some   kind   of   merc?" 

 She   didn't   know   why   THAT   was   the   thought   that   crossed   her   mind   ....   but   hey,   maybe   she   was   right?

ˋ°•*⁀➷  𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰  𝓪𝓰𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓼𝓽  𝓽𝓱𝓮  𝓯𝓻𝓪𝓶𝓮  of  the  door  to  remy's  bedroom,  anna  marie  watched  him  with  a  small  smile  settled  on  her  lips.  she'd  been  there  for  quite  awhile  and  she  was  surprised  that  the  male  mutant  hadn't  noticed  her  presence,  he  was  usually  quick  to  realise  when  someone  was  around.  it  was  moments  like  this  that  rogue  cherished.  moments  where  she  could  forget  that  she  couldn't  touch  anyone,  where  she  could  feel  like  a  normal  person  for  once  in  her  life.  they  were  few  and  far  between  but  she  tried  not  to  dwell  on  that  too  much.

Was that supposed to bother him? Perhaps so — and yet, Alastor couldn't find himself even a shred of anything aside from content amusement. His everlasting smile budged not even an inch — if all else, it was only his eye which narrowed by a hair.

Indeed, he may have taken a bit of advantage of a rather precarious situation — but Gambit was around, so where exactly was the harm in dragging a poor unfortunate soul into these shenanigans? Work got done, and that's what mattered.

The scene is gruesome at best and the question of whose blood was staining their skin and clothes didn't really occur to them so much as dragging a body double their size out of the raging fire and sharp, faulty debris. It takes everything to move him and the trail left behind from his outrageously long legs is proof of just how determined they were to do so. When he speaks they know they should be relieved but they're still concerned about the state of his wellbeing. While this wasn't the first time they've survived ridiculous situations together Finlay didn't want this to be the last. Their unique situation was an answer they were only just now getting used to, but Viktor's 'luck' as they called it was a complete mystery. Their best guess was that he was similar to them but they couldn't really be sure why he managed to persist past the unfortunate events he always seemed to be apart of.

Dragging him now on his unsteady feet proved to be far less efficient but their back would thank them for the lack of weight later. That is until he outright releases them. They look back at him perplexed, their question and protest coming out in a coughing fit due to smoke inhalation and increasingly dangerous signs of suffocation from all of the smoke but like every other day in their life, they would take their chances. "What the hell are you on about?! I'm not leavin' ya, you're off ya head!" He's crazy to think they would even consider the thought. "You're talkin' mince, I'm draggin' ya outta here again if I have to ya big lug, c'mon!" Finlay rushed to his aid again, trying to coax him back onto his feet when they note the chance in color in his hands. They know their vision isn't the best given the very dangerous circumstances right now but this was distinct even in the midst of smoke and flame.
