5. what's your favourite piece of furniture and where did you get it? — nearly all my furniture is second-hand and extremely eclectic but I think it has to go to my weird low-slung square olive green leather armchair which was rescued from student housing at the college where my mom used to work (discarded/left behind when everyone moved out for summer) and then a few years ago reupholstered. she’s so chic

That's a very good question (c) actually, as I LOVE compliments, like, yes, GIVE ME THEM but I respond on them differently though, think, it heavily depends on whether I overcame some parts of my self-worth issues lol

compliments on my clothes , lipstick, and jewellery: I smile, flip hair dramatically and say that I feel beautiful, twist and twirl around if the compliment was on my clothes (if there's a special purchase story I want to immediately tell it) or show off the hands if it was about my rings, alternatively if that was about earrings I made I just yap about making them

compliments on my physical features (apart from hands and smile, there I'm all "I know that's pretty, tell again" xD): they're very rare irl, I feel lost, I smile, say sth alongside "oh really?", and shortly thank

compliments on my drawings: I thank and try to explain what it means, sometimes can immediately downgrade it as nothing special before anyone complements the drawing, I don't feel very comfortable with accepting compliments on my creative work that is probably why I over-explain myself on that as a reaction

compliments on my embroidery: I have all the excitement written on my face, I thank, I yap about how I made it, I feel very proud and I verbally or physically hug a person for that lol

compliments on my knowledge: I thank immediately, I smile, sometimes I try to discredit myself like "ah well, I studied that at my first Uni", sometimes I want to hide from such compliments and it feels like "people just didn't notice what I don't know" lol

compliments on my confidence: I'm all smiley, I say that I know and the price of it is years of lots of shit and that I earned my own confidence well done me xD
