Ein bisschen böser Spaß gefällig? "Hellfjord" ist gur dafür geeignet!

Der Polizist Sal(a)mander wird für 3 Monate nach Hellfjord strafversetzt, weil er sein Pferd auf offener Straße zuerst erschossen, danach erschlagen und zu guter Letzt auch noch überfahren hat. Doch bereits nach wenigen Tagen Aufenthalt in dem abgeschiedenen und augenscheinlich ruhigen Ort überkommt Salmander das ungute Gefühl, einem ganz großen Fisch auf die Spur gekommen zu sein.

Police officer Salmander (“Salamander without the a”, Zahid Ali) from Oslo and his police horse Gunnar. After the dead of his horse Gunnar, Salmander is banished to the Northern Norvegian village of Hellfjord.

In beautiful but mysterious Hellfjord he is welcomed by the vulgar and eccentric sheriff Kobba, and meets the dim-witted journalist Johanne who suspects that something lies beneath the surface in the village. There are murders and suspects - it’s a very specific kind of humor and I don’t know much people who like Hellfjorden - but I thinks this series is really underrated - the Norvegians have a lot of humor. But they are so few!
