I propose we create a 5th category of Helldiver: Gloom Divers.
For those of you who are not familiar, in Helldivers 2, when the game launched, there were two factions players could fight: terminids (bugs) and automotons (bots). Each presented different challenges and required different play styles, resulting in “bot divers” and “bug divers”. There were also “major order divers”, who were the players who mainly followed major orders. When the Illuminate (squids) arrived, we got “squid divers.”
Now you might be thinking, “the Gloom is part of the bug front. Shouldn’t people fighting in the Gloom just be consider bug divers?” To those people I say, have you fought in the Gloom? Have you seen Hive Lords? Have you encountered the dragons? This shit is above and beyond anything we’ve fought before. Not to mention the fact that you can’t call in support while you’re in the tunnels!
The people willingly diving in the Gloom are a different breed and deserve recognition for insanity. Therefore: Gloom divers.
Yall, I’ve been super curious as to the biology of the terminids. I just love em, something about the stalkers make them look like bug cats.
But, are they even bugs? As in, insects?
Obviously they wouldn’t fit into any known species, but I bet we can at least determine what would be new. Please keep in mind that I am neither biologist nor Helldivers expert, and if I get anything wrong, feel free to correct me.

First time on a bug world wish me and my entomophobia luck
so you’re telling me, that the illuminates, that havnt been seen for a hundred fucking years, have head multiple sightings of the observers looking around?! like motherfucker i love that helldivers just adds shit and lets theplayers decide and then makes Super Earth gaslight them into thinking they dont exist like when chrome automatons started appearing and the ministry of truth wanted to cover it up. also ive seen a bunch of people play automaton fronts and seeing a dead terminid on the ground or playing a terminid front and seeing a dead automaton. back to the illuminates, other people have died because of blue lasers that the ministry of truth is trying to gaslight us out of thinking it. so im just thinking. how long have the illuminates been back?
