Actually, Constantine issue 19 was the closest we got to a Hellblazer issue the entire series. If you overlook the whole thing with New52 John's messed up backstory and why he's on Earth Two, it has a very dark, depressing, Hellblazer-esque feel to it. I still miss the originals, though.
Can't overlook the entire N52 thing as it's ruined so many of my favorite characters, and it shouldn't take 19 whole issues to get him back to being in character, you know? So after I rage-read the first one I just quit.
My dash needed more Hellblazer, also I saw your reply to that Padalecki tool and kudos, I felt like writing something to him but I could only come up with "You are a fucking tool" and that'd cause a swarm of Supernatural fans to blow up my mentions

hey hey hi, sorry, i'm all for showing people that supernatural is actually a rip-off and that constantine isn't (they're just both based on the same thing), mainly because i myself didn't know, but maybe you should tone down the anger a little? most of the people here are not actually super dumb and will likely at least listen to you. i'm not asking you to stop, i'm just saying maybe you shouldnt be so agressive?
I get that, and I appreciate the fans that are nice about it and acknowledge the mistake, but 90% of them don't.
So I'll stop being aggressive about it when Supernatural fans stop being aggressive about it. Because the amount of times I've seen posts sarcastically or passive aggressively calling it a rip-off when it takes two seconds to google is getting out of hand. Not to mention these fans are usually the ones that claim to be "huge" Supernatural fans, and how are you a "huge" fan and ignorant of something Kripke has repeated over and over?
The Supernatural fandom in general is a bit toxic and has never been open to criticism here on tumblr.
