He had never seen another auri before. Not one that hadn’t been one of his siblings, not one that was free. So there was little wonder that he might have been staring, unnaturally glowing eyes fixated on the woman that had killed his sister, killed his brother, and who should have killed him.
Why the latter hadn’t happened, Rex really didn’t know. It was likely just a cruel trick of fate, but who was he to question it?
