#hell yeahhhh!!!

Kimbra and Mayer Hawthorne opened for them. And omg Kimbra is crazy and awesome and Mayer Hawthorne and his band are soooo adorable (their matching footwork/swaying back and forth was just so cute to me haha) and they play AWESOME like, oldies funk but they're pretty young. I love them. lol

And of course Foster the People was AMAZINGGGG!!! There were like 50+ people in front of us in line but we still ended up getting a spot against the barricade far right. Pretty much the edge but we had a perfect view of Ponsi and Isom most of the time. Oh and when Foster played his keyboard I swear he was looking straight at us (me and my friend Taylor). But it was probably just a coincidence and he wasn't really looking at anyone. But still!

My favorite part was when they played Houdini (their last song before the encore) and they had some UC Berkeley Marching Band members play with them!!!!! There were like 4 or 5 of of them I think and they were trumpets and trombones I think. I couldn't really see cuz they were on the other side of the stage. But OMG HOW LUCKY ARE THEY!!! Jeez. It was soooo awesome.

Oh and at one point they had a whole bunch of paper airplanes fly into the crowd and one fell behind the barricade and I asked a security guard to get it for me and he did. :) So I got a FTP paper airplane! lol

Oh, and when they walked off the stage after Houdini and they were saying bye Ponsi TOTALLY looked at my friend and smiled at him!!! He probably would've looked and made eye contact with me too but stupid me was looking at the other end of the stage trying to take a picture of the marching band members. But when I turned back toward Ponsi I saw like the last second of him looking at my friend. AHHH! haha

Oh, last thing. lol So when we got to Berkeley a couple hours before the concert we ended up driving behind their tour buses!!! There were two and the second one we were driving behind had the white "foster the future" van attached to the back so the band was probably in the first one. We were going to follow them but the directions told us to take a turn so we did but it turns out we could have TOTALLY followed them (directions were stupid). Some people were there when the tour bus got there and got freakin autographs!!!! But apparently Mark Foster wasn't there. But OMG how cool would it have been if we got their autographs?!?!?! UGGGHHH. If only if only. lol 

But overall it was such an awesome night. :) I got a paper airplane! lol I'll post pictures soon! :D
