→People, in the eyes of Dracula, do not change, no matter how much they try. He believes that a leopard doesn’t change its spots. It’s funny though. He changed, at least speaking about his mortality, so he claims he took fate into his own hands by damning himself forever, but did he really? So was his changing already pre-determined? It’s tricky when we talk about fate and the capability of change in people!

Gonna be serious now *ahem*. He wants many things. He does want to continue to live. He also wants to rid the world of humans. He also wants children. He was denied the opportunity because the Holy Order (not to be confused with the Order of the Dragon) decreed celibacy for all their members mainly because they didn’t want offspring of their members to end up as proteges of the Turkish court. And the Holy Order also made this a rule because they were tired of the extra-marital affairs that were commonplace pretty much everywhere.

     MISCHIEF  ALIGHT  IN  EMERALD  HUES !   the  boy  is  sent  into  a  fit  of  giggles ,  all  too  delighted  at  the  prospect  of  a  little  game .   eddie  couldn’t  help  it  really ,  miss  leota  just  always  seemed  to  pull  the  most  amusing  of  reactions .   mittened hands are kept hidden behind his back ,   keeping  the  dusty  old  ritual  dagger  well  out  of  view  as  he  swayed back and forth on his heels .   “ okay !   but  only  if  you  can  guess  which  hand  it  is  in ! ”
