Okay, so Sun sees Eclipse as manipulative or something of the like, correct? With that acknowledged… does this mean Sun would, in a way, see himself as manipulative since his own personality and self came from Eclipse?

so, this stems from Sun’s belief that since he is a robot, he doesn’t experience real emotions. of course, Moon and Eclipse are robots too, but they seem to experience and express emotions. so Sun’s explanation for Moon is that he is a fool, believing he is something he’s not. as for Eclipse, Sun sees him as manipulative because unlike Sun and Moon, Eclipse is an actor. he was built for the theater and unlike Sun and Moon, he can play a convincing performance.

Sun and Moon were originally built to match their canon marketing (a cheerful Sun and a comforting Moon), but they came out different from what they were intended to be, and they really struggle to play the roles set out for them.

But Eclipse can. is it because he’s the original? is it because it’s in his code to perform? Sun’s not sure

what he is sure of is that Eclipse is just as defective as they are.

Yes, lycanthropy is connected to the moon in the campaign. The main bit of lore for lycanthropy is that there are two sub types. Subsequent Heritable Infection (SHI) is basically a 'family curse' variant, where when you get bit, the lycanthropy gets passed down to the eldest child of each subsequent generation, though biting still passes it along. Isolated Infection is 'classic' lycanthropy where it's limited to just the person bitten and the only way it can get passed along is via bite. The moon triggers both variants' transformations.
