Selina  wines is a series of Greek wines produced and bottled by Arkas SA and Mavrakis Distilleries which bottled the Mavrodaphne sweet wine variation. The Red, Rose and White varieties are born at the ancient Mantineia plateau in Arcadia  a region famous for it's wine production since antiquity. It was called the '' polyampelos '' country ( a place with many vineyards ) according to Homer. Mavrodaphne is  a dessert wine sold under the Mavrodaphni PDO (protected Domain of Origin) name. Famous all over the world, Mavrodaphne is a dark, almost opaque sweet wine from the region of Achaia. The name was chosen by Gustav Clauss, the founder of the Achaia Clauss winery. The wines are sold exclusively in the USA by Athenee Importers. Established in 1975, they are the largest importer and distributor of fine wine, spirits and beer from Greece and Cyprus.

“Mr. Dimitris Katsaris comes from a family of engineers with an extensive experience and great accomplishments in their fields. He approached us to create their new visual identity. The main goal of the new design was to be able to attract and approach the foreign market with a single, modern and functional corporate identity as well as to develop new domestic relations with the foremost goal to cooperate with companies and architects who share the same vision.

The new identity was mainly inspired by the geometric elements that can be found on the engineer's blueprints. The chosen color palette uses a distinctive orange tint as the dominant color. A color that is inextricably linked with the signage on construction sites and demarcation areas.In order to achieve coherence throughout the identity, we designed some basic visual elements as a guide for the development and the brand's promotion. 

In order to achieve the desired print result of the “multi-level” new logomark and visually pair it with the digital applications, we decided to implement all the applications using the silkscreen printing method. A custom orange color code was created and after a lot of trial and error, we achieved the visual and the tactile preferred result.

“ Record sleeve design for Teflon’s “Kommatia apo ta Eripia” (Fragments of Ruins) limited vinyl release. Teflon is a Greek rock band and this is their second album. Based on the album title, we wanted to design a record sleeve that somehow felt broken, so we came up with the concept of a hole seen through five different layers of laminated recyclable cardboard. The layers created the illusion of a damaged wall, perfectly complemented by a custom monospaced font.“

TOSCANA © Composition of taste Logo design and take away packaging for the TOSCANA Italian restaurant. Drawing inspiration from the Italian region itself and in order to emphasise on the authenticity of its traditional flavour, we designed the logo based on the clear geometric forms that the raw materials the restaurant's kitchen uses, as they’re composed to create the form of a horse with feathers as a reference to the typical Tuscan region's coat of arms. Typography takes a leading role on the packaging while combined with the emblematic elements of the Toscana region, creating a classic but also contemporary aesthetic. The overall result differentiates itself from the common approach of the industry’s competition, communicating direct and powerful messages making an impactful sense of authenticity. “

“ Riley®  Riley & Riley Ltd.       

The brief       

'Create a brand for the Riley brothers’ drink. You’ll need to consider everything, from the branding strategy to the design to the packaging.' Riley&Riley Ltd. sell a drink that promises to prevent hangovers – it’s a mix of vitamins, rehydration salts, amino acids that break down toxins, caffeine and one secret ingredient. The company was founded by two brothers from Yorkshire – Tom and James Riley. They moved to London after graduating, set up their company and started manufacturing the drink. The approachThe main inspiration for this project was the effect alcohol has on the brain and consequently the eyesight. The typeface and graphic elements were created based on this very idea. The processThe name of the drink (20/20) is placed partially on the front and on the back of the bottle label. The more the user consumes the more visible the logo gets. When the amount reaches the lowest point, the logo gets clear; this subsequently means the user has absorbed all the required ingredients. The most important thing anyone should do to avoid next day's hangover is to rehydrate. That is the reason why 20/20 logo has been placed near the bottom rather than the middle or top of the bottle. The user is 'forced' to drink in order to rehydrate. Also, the bottle is made out of recycled, recyclable thinner than usual plastic that would prevent any accidents from happening when someone is a bit tipsy. The resultA system of clever graphic elements is designed in order to support a bold, fresh and elegant brand launch for the Riley brothers. “

“ The World of Daily Cuture by Rosebird® Who: The company was founded in Copenhagen, in 1994 under the brand name of Rosebird Clothing. Founder and creative director Runa Hinkel had the plain goal to design and produce female apparel and accessories of the highest quality and aesthetics. What: "We are almost 25 years old and we feel it's time for our first major redesign. It's most important for the new identity to reflect our brand values." Well: We ended up using a brand phrase instead of the brand name, making the logo descriptor and the name work on the same team and create a more organic and continuous flow. We accompanied the wordmark with a modern and clean symbol that  illustrates perfectly the name it self. A rose and a bird. “
