@hefrosts​ asked: ❛ Hey! Spider boy! ❜ Jack’s face appeared suddenly in the windowsill, hanging upside-down. Without giving much time for the other to respond, he leaned in, blowing a minty fresh breath of cold air against the boy’s skin. Then, with a mischievous laugh, he pressed frost-feeling lips against Peter’s nose.

He’s sitting cross-legged on his bed, tinkering with his web-shooters. Snow days aren’t very common for his school, and yet... Peter has a feeling he had a certain winter spirit to thank for his good fortune. (Yes, he believes. You can’t be bitten by a radioactive spider, work with the Avengers, travel to an alien planet, fight off an army-- Er... Well... You get the point, right?) 

Clearly this is one of those SPEAK OF THE DEVIL situations, for lo and behold, there’s Jack, and before the vigilante can say anything, a blast of frosty air hits his cheek. Face scrunching up, Peter can’t help but laugh, though the KISS ON HIS NOSE is a surprise that has his cheeks heating up with a ridiculous blush.

❝  you’re a terrible influence, you know. ❞        though spoken with vindication, her playful tone betrays her   ;   there’s no hint of malice, or even annoyance.    jack didn’t pull her out of the house, after all    ( only lured her with some well - aimed pebbles to the window )   ---   and if evelyn hadn’t wanted to wander, she’d never have gone at all.     even as she skips at his side, though, feet light and skirts fluttering over the grass, she keeps up the act for it’s own sake.          ❝ papa is already constantly lecturing me about acting like a lady.    apparently, that doesn’t include running around with troublemaking village boys...  ❞     

     THAT NIGHT WAS PARTICULARLY COLD. Of all nights to feel sleep-deprived, it had to be one such as this. Only Toothless was keeping him company as Hiccup strolled down Berk’s snowy forest. The Nightfury was chasing the sticks he was throwing at him, their usual game of fetch, a nice distraction to how non-sleepy the young dragon rider felt.

          THE  GREAT  FEAST  HAD  FINALLY  BEGUN .   the  mark  of  midsummer  was  a  notorious  celebration  where  clans  from  far  away  regions  gather  to  rejoice  the  summer  solstice .   the  great  hall  bustled  with  men  and  women  of  various  stature  ,   twirling  to  the  melody  concocted  through  an  orchestra  of  horns  ,   flutes  and  lyres .   despite  the  rowdy  scene  before  him  ,   hiccup  was  fairly  conservative  with  parties  ,   often  observing  from  afar  all  of  the  minute  details  none  would  be  wiser  to  notice .   however  ,   as  the  future  prince  of  berk  ,   it  was  his  duty  to  mingle  among  the  lively  ,   drunken  crowd  ,   much  to  his  chagrin .

          HICCUP  ADORNS  HIS  PRINCELY  ATTIRE .   the  stark  black  tunic  with  golden  embellishments  accentuates  freckle - starred  features  ,   the  added  dragonscale  belt  completing  his  exceptionally  royal  look .   he  knows  he  stands  out  in  the  crowd  ,   an  unfortunate  present  only  gifted  to  the  royal  heirs  themselves .   despite  it  all  ,   he  hangs  his  head  low  ,   stray  strands  of  auburn  hair  falling  onto  forehead .   the  doors  ahead  are  only  a  few  strides  away  ,   and  he  quickly  maneuvers  through  the  crowd  to  catch  a  break  from  the  festivities     (   and  steal  a  bit  of  solitude  before  being  forced  to  socialize  once  more   ) .

          THE  REFRESHING  BREEZE  RUFFLES  HIS  CAREFULLY  STYLED  HAIR  ,   and  hiccup  takes  a  long  ,  deep  breath  as  he  soaks  in  the  quietude  accompanying  a  warm  summers  night .   all  that  can  be  heard  is  the  muffled  music  nestled  behind  closed  doors  ,   and  the  gentle  cacophony  of  crickets  sounding  in  the  distance .   being  so  absorbed  in  the  moment  ,   hiccup  almost  didn’t notice  the  man  next  to  him  ;   startling  himself  out  of  his  dazed  stupor .

❛ You seem to stargaze even more than I do. ❜ Jack mused aloud, peering over the blonde’s shoulder. Breath cold agains Ven’s nose, he couldn’t help his desire to nip a little as he laughed quietly, amusedly. ❛ Don’t catch yourself a case of frostbite, kiddo. You’re already dangerously close as is. ❜           @hefrosts​.

“  WHOA,   HOW  IS  YOUR  BREATH  SO  COLD ?  ”

ventus doesn’t really know  much  about the spirits that linger around various connected worlds,  so it’s only natural that he doesn’t recognize the winter sprite for who he is :    JACK  FROST,   nipping playfully at his reddened nose,  chilled from a day in  arendelle  with aqua & a night spent watching the stars alone.     he’d like to be warmer,  but this is where he’s content to be for now ... basking in the endless sky above the land of departure,  now with some very intriguing company!

“  i like the stars.     they make me feel like i’m really part of something,  you know?     like my problems are so insignificant.  ”     blue eyes flick up to watch his companion thoughtfully.     “  you said you watch them too,  didn’t you?     who are you?  ”
