Victor has always been pretty heavy set himself, so he absolutely knows what it's like growing up "the fat kid". While it certainly doesn't bother him much now given his many achievements and the immense power the Nemesis parasite has allotted him, he still gets it. He will never brush you off or mock you for having low self esteem, rather he tells you everything you need to hear. From compliments on your intelligence and personality to adoring your body and looks, he always knows precisely what you need to hear.

Your weight is a non-issue to him. No matter how heavy you are, he can and WILL lift you if he wants to. Be ready to be thrown over a shoulder, hoisted up and placed in another chair or just generally picked up. No amount of telling him he will "hurt himself" will ever get through to him. Because of course he won't. He can one hand wield a fucking rocket launcher, you are by no means harder to carry.

Also does not give a single shit how much you eat. No matter how much you can eat, he probably eats twice if not three times as much. He's a Large Mutated Man; he is absolutely going to eat more than anyone in the room. If he thinks you aren't eating enough he will offer you food over and over until you accept. If you don't he may end up force feeding you or at the least feeds you by hand.

Adores your body with no questions asked. Not in certain lighting and not with the precondition that you plan on losing weight eventually. As a doctor he is especially annoyed by other Surgeons and medical professionals that overlook issues simply due to a patient's weight. To him it feels lazy, like a cop out just to get away from doing the work it takes to properly diagnose something. He likes solving a mystery too much to just chalk up symptoms to weight and leave it at that.

Is ridiculously lovey dovey when he's really into someone so be ready to be swept off your feet a lot. Looks at you like you're the most pristine and perfect thing he's ever laid eyes on. Gently strokes your cheek and tells you how he adores you and that you are his entire world. Meanwhile you are barely awake and probably rolling out of bed an absolute mess. Victor doesn't care. He just needs you to know how much he loves you. Almost an Obsessive amount.

what i mean by that is that anger and revenge are interesting things to explore with his character, but only fixating on his obsession with beating sonic takes away from the other parts of his character. i'd rather explore how tremendous trauma of being made with someone else's dna and memories turned him into a different person, taking away the chance to be his own. the trauma of failing over and over and being rebuilt again and again giving him no sense of self-preservation. you live through something too horrendous to make it out in the same way as you were before and you change. people can go from happy to reclusive, hopeful to angry. we see that in heroes at its peak.

metal sonic is activated and the first thing he learns is that he has no identity apart from sonic - sonic’s memories, sonic’s data. he spends his time simmering around people with very few good intentions, feeding into the feelings of anger and hopelessness. metal deserves his righteous rage. to look at his feelings and say that he's just "evil" is a disservice.

i think people conflate this sort of anger with frenzied behaviour, and don't see how someone can be both calculated and deeply fucking angry - but metal is also shown to be in control of his anger pretty often. is he vengeful and does he have resentment for sonic? yep, of course. but he's someone with a vendetta and anger who can channel it and use it. what i’m saying is. he’s not just some crazy rage-filled bot, he also commands other robots, he's calculated in battle, and is left in charge by eggman. he’s not just angry.
