She’s carefully fiddling with the wheels of the landing gear, small airplane aged yet still in a rather good condition to fly.

It was clear as day that Bastila was agitated - and why wouldn’t she be? She was well aware that she was transporting illegal contraband, ancient artefacts of some description that she had happened upon during her last treasure hunt. She couldn’t say what the importance of them was, just that they were important. This was why she was so eager to get them to the Resistance, both so that someone with more practical knowledge could identify them, and to get them to safety.

She had tried to stress the important of her find in her coded transmission, but considering the lone smuggler that the Resistance had sent to assist her, she felt that the urgency hadn’t quite translated.

she could remember the days of going into her room, of walking back from school, of just seeing that smile that would rise on her lips. they were happy, if even just for a few moments. just the thoughts made a hint of a smile on her lips, a soft chuckle escaping her lips as she ducked her head slightly. “sorry,” she whispered through her small laugh, her moving her fingers to brush along daisy’s cheek slightly as she went to meet her eyes again. just for a while, they could focus on being together. on being close to one another without the fear of anything else and it was freeing in a way that natasha didn’t know how to describe. “do you ever just have those days where you... can’t stop thinking? but in a good way?”

She’s pressing the button on the saber, the light igniting and the slow hum emitting from it.
