Heathspike for short! 

Comes up to Wysteria’s withers (that’s shoulders in horsespeak)

He does not have magic. The fertilizer pile zapped it all out of him :/

When Heathspike did have magic, it was earthen magic. He could make plants grow and kill weeds with a snap of his fingers. The magic between him and the fertilizer he was cocooned in kept the royal flower alive for all these years.

Heathspike doesn’t know why he was buried like that, if he did it himself, or if someone did it to him.

He despises Whimsy Weatherbe.

His family used to be servants for the Unicornian Queens. After an invasion from the Gryffins and Dragons of the Crystal North, Heathspike’s ancestors escorted the current queens. His ancestors were subsequently fired from the castle. Somehow or another, they winded up in Ponyville.

This is also why Heathspike has hands but Whimsy doesn’t.

Dracons live for thousands of years. Because Heathspike was comatose for so long, he is not his proper size. He’s about the equivalent of a twenty year old. He’s new to this royalty bizz.

Heathspike knows where all Ice Gems reside after they fall. All dragons do.

Whimsy Weatherbe

Whimsy lives alone in the mountains on the very outskirts of the Crystal North. Her ancestors are the ones who raided the Unicornian Castle.

Whimsy also knows how to preform fire magic, but is much stronger with ice magic. She was disowned from her friends and family for learning the Magic of Heat, thus why she lives alone.

Because of this, Whimsy fell out of practice with fire magic and it’s now very weak. Still pretty painful to be hit with directly.

Whimsy knows where the Ice Gems fall, too. She doesn’t have anyone to show them off to, though, so she doesn’t care to collect.

One of Whimsy’s ancestors kidnapped Saint Twinkle Wish, also known as Santa Hooves. Luckily Saint Twinkle Wish’s wife, Spritely Dreams, and her hippogryph friends were able to take her back home. 

Whimsy’s fully aware that her grandma is Pony Krampus. Whimsy does not care.

Whimsy is desperate for friends. This is why she kidnapped Queens Serendipity and Crowning Glory. She broke and sold their horndust to try and attract company of her own kind.
