@heathburnns Things had been different since the discovery of Holt not too many months ago. There was still a lot the two had to figure out, at at times attending school as two seperate individuals with one body could be hell. But some of the worst of it came when his mother tried to get involved with the process of teaching Jackson about his monster side, a process she thought could be helped with the use of his cousin.Â
âBoys nightsâ, as she called them, as if he was too old to call them playdates but too young to decide how to spend his weekends. At least staying the night at the fire elementalâs house wasnât all bad. Heath hadnât changed much from what he remembered as a child, and though that probably meant a few pillows would end up getting charred, Jackson appreciated his company. He left his car parked on the street and knocked on the door of Heathâs home. Jackson only had a backpack and blanket with him, half packed full of horror movies and games and half packed full of... whatever Holt saw fit. Jackson didnât bother to check.
