Pairing: Shane Hollander x Ilya Rozanov (no reader insert.)
Summary: Shane has a photoshoot with sports illustrated and now that him and Ilya are out and his schedule permits he gets to attend.
Genre: Fluff with a bit of jealous angst.

Shane's laughter filled the room, as the remaining flash of the cameras lingered in the air. Someone from the hair and makeup team was on him immediately to make sure his hair lay perfectly and that his freckles were showing (per Ilya's personal request.)
Shane was the cover athlete for Sports Illustrated in February, and Ilya was invited to watch the photo shoot unfold. Now that the world knew about them it really depended on their schedules when they would see one another next, and he didn't want to miss this opportunity especially since the photo shoot was in Ottawa.
"Next scene I want to cover you in kiss prints, I am thinking we have you roll your breezers down to show more of your v-line too. Does that sound good?"
As soon as the director Shane's word "breezers" Shane's eyes wandered over to Ilya. He wasn't sure if he would remember the Canadian slang for their hockey pants or if the kiss comment would upset him.
Ilya looked over at Shane smiling with his jaw tightly fixed, his hands white-knuckled gripping the side of the chair he was sitting in. He was trying his best not to wear his emotions on his face, especially in a professional environment but Shane knew him better than that.
"One sec?"
"Sure thing! Let's take five and reset!" Shane crossed the room slowly, already reading into the look on Ilyas's face. He stood in front of him with a childlike demeanor. "It's just a photo shoot, you know that right?"
"Yeah, but why do they have to kiss you? That is weird, no?" Ilya tried to whisper, but subtly was not in his special skill set.
"Maybe they use a stamp or something?" Shane shrugged before his eyes landed on one of the few female models on set covering her lips in red lipstick, his shoulders dropping in defeat.
Ilya followed his eye line trying his hardest not to overreact and crack (another) tooth.
"Fine, it is fucking fine Hollander. It is job. Just do job" Ilya always referred back to calling him by his last name when he was frustrated, a tell and force of habit really. He got on his phone, avoiding eye contact and seemingly being done with the conversation.
Shane rarely stuck up for himself; the thought was nerve-wracking, but when it came to his relationship with Ilya, he knew they had been through too much to let this be another obstacle. He groaned, walking away from his stubborn pouty boyfriend and over to the director.
Once Ilya realized what Shane was doing he watched as he spoke with the director who seemed to be receiving the information well. Shane looked relieved and wore the world's biggest smile as he walked over to Ilya.
"What smiling so big for?" Ilya narrowed his striking blue eyes at him.
"Because you have to pucker up! The makeup team has a red and purple lipstick with your name on it" Shane crossed his arms across his chest almost to prove a point at how proud he was to get that done.
Ilyas' eyes went wide, his smile started to spread before he really understood what was being said to him.
"You asked if I can do instead?"
Before Shane had a chance to reply the director of the shoot walked over to introduce himself properly to Ilya with a firm handshake before guiding him over to the makeup chair.
"Makes for a better story doesn't it? Authentic kiss marks from his real-life partner."
Looks like Yuna Hollanders negotiation skills are hereditary.
