Does anyone have a clue about what happened to Pikiru, the creater of the species "Heartpuffs". They were VERY popular in the kawaii community (with lots of artists copying the style and the resurgence of the 90s anime art style) and then made a big Heartpuff jewelry shop (the website is still there but everything is sold out asides from shirts?) Nothing has been updated on the Heartpuff either since April 2021. Did she pass away or just disappear or something? Odd to abandone everything.p

(heartpuff/gen) pikiru also went to merch a while ago, they make really lovely earrings (you can ask for clip on too) and the designs for their hoodies and shirts are cute, it just kinda, feels lonely? not getting to see new art from them

Pikiru has been creating her own chibi art on deviant art since middle school in South Korea. Now in college, she has come up with a unique design for her chibis that is adorable. The design she created is called Heartpuffs and Pikiru has a whole story behind them.
