My Dear Jonathan,

I hope you are well. I trust you survived the war, eh? Ha, forgive me. The war itself was miserable as these things go, but when you have lived as long as I have, it comes and goes in the blink of an eye. You did what you could - as did I, but I think that you can now take a step back and see. How much more brutal it is. How unforgiving, how unrelenting. Nevertheless, the first Christmas after a war -... there is a new sense of appreciation, is there not? A joy that is usually found in children when they know nothing of this world. But you and I know different, don’t we?

Do you remember our time in Morocco? That must have been a good five years ago now.  I have decided to make one of my residences in London. There is something about this city that always calls me back home. Mind, not bang on in the city, of course. A little ways out - with commute if I fancy into London. I teach at a local University. Bright, young, minds... reminds me of a certain young man...a couple decades ago. 

I trust your travels have kept you occupied.  Do let me know if you fancy a roll into London Town.

Strange for such a man to care, maybe.  Aurelio senses a great deal of ... something heavy, whenever Luther is closeby.  Alliances are fresh and new to him, though the desire for kinship, perhaps, is not.

𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒   𝐈𝐒   𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐋𝐘   𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆   𝐓𝐇𝐄   𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒 .    she’s gotten nealie this far, she’s meant to remove herself from the equation now -- no interference. but it’s a party and that means drinking  &  dancing, two things faeries love unabashedly. so she occupies herself by the banquet table and watches the glittering masks and the swishing of many skirts, and keeps an eye on her redheaded charge who’s meant to be having the time of her life but looks... rather bored, actually.

    ansgar’s apartment is nice, in its own way. it’s not like hers -- but right now, sat at his kitchen table, she’s grateful for that. everything upstairs reminds her of logan. nothing down here does; not even her downstairs neighbor, who used to always show up at their door when they got a little too loud with whatever they happened to be doing. she just can’t connect someone so sweet to something so... fucked up.        “ i like your apartment. ”
