arlo is a heartford native, born and raised in suburban hills, everyone in the area, was aware of the martin family. they are very loud and there is a lot of them.

he's one of the oldest martin kids, all together, there are eight of them. growing up, he was close to his family and he still is.

growing up, arlo loved being outside, climbing trees, scraping knees, it was obvious education wasn't for him.

he liked working with his dad, who was an electrician, and he liked helping him fix things!!

once he finished high school, he decided that he didn't want to go to college, his parents accepted that & he started working with his dad.

arlo was living his best life, just getting by, but that's when his life was flipped upside down by a pretty girl.

he was on a night out with his friends, when he bumped into a girl, that he'd been close to in high-school, she'd dropped out of college and come back home.

throughout the evening, the pair got close once more, they eventually left the bar a little early and went back to her place.

one thing led to another and they ended up hooking up, which normally would've been fine, but in his drunken state, he forgot protection.

eventually, the girl fessed up to arlo that she was pregnant, they decided to keep the baby, he could tell that she wasn't so sure though.

she gave birth to a little girl, they named her hazel, they decided to co-parent for a little bit, for the first few months, things were going well(ish)

arlo ended up doing a lot of the parenting, but he didn't mind, he was having fun with it.

but as hazel turned six months old, the girl told arlo that she was going to try college again and she let arlo know, that motherhood wasn't for her, she couldn't do it.

that meant arlo became her sole carer, which was the right thing to do in the end, it was hard at first, but now the pair of them are super close.

arlo has worked his ass off, becoming a self-employed handy man, he's worked so hard that the two of them now have their own, small but cosy, apartment in willowfield.

nowadays, hazel is about eight years old, she's living her best life with arlo, he's taking good care of her, he's also living his best life too!! the two of them are kinda like rory and lorelai from gilmore girls, but lorelai came from a more healthy / supportive background lol.

nadia is originally from sheffield, in the north of england, she's the oldest of two and has a younger brother.

she's always been incredibly creative, at school, when her friends were climbing trees and swinging on swings, she was scribbling and doodling in notebooks.

nadia realised quite early on in her life that she wanted to be a writer, a creative, she wanted to inspire.

she still went to university, got a degree, just in case the writing thing didn't work out. but deep down, she knew that was her passion.

anyway, she moved down to london, started working in a tiny bookstore and worked on her first novel. it was the first book in a ya-action-adventure series with a cool female lead, nadia was very proud of it.

eventually after many, many, many drafts, the book was finished, nadia worked her ass off and the book eventually got picked up by publishers.

it was a hit, sold really well, so well in fact, she was able to quit her job and become a writer full time.

nadia wrote the second book in the series with ease & again, that was very well received. that brings us up to today & the third book, she's struggling....SHE'S GOT WRITERS BLOCK!!

her team suggested a change of scene, explored a different part of the world, write if inspiration hit her, but don't put any pressure on herself.

annnnd that's why she's currently in heartford, she's been living here for six months & she's not having much luck inspo wise.

but she is enjoying living in heartford, having a great time with that, she hopes that inspo will strike her soon :))

New year, new bundle of joy ― born on the first of January, on a blisteringly cold evening in London, Cedric brought an unyielding warmth with him into the Sinclair's lives. As the middle child, but the youngest boy, he was given a freedom others may have deemed negligent. His parents didn't always understand him but when it truly mattered, he had their support. His sister is his best friend who has always shown him support, particularly during his journey of self-discovery.

Coming out as transgender at 17, Theo had a supportive environment that allowed him to transition with confidence and acceptance. His parents, despite their many traditional expectations, ultimately stood by him. By 19, Theo had become comfortable in his own skin and enjoyed moving into the next part of his life.

Parker Ellis was born into a wealthy and influential family in Heartford, where privilege often came with strings attached. His parents had high expectations for him, but Parker always felt somewhat out of place and their ambitions clashed with the life that he wanted. While his father pushed for a future in finance or law, Parker had a secret passion for photography. His dad saw it as a hobby, but Parker knew it was his calling.

At 18, Parker made the bold decision to study photography at New York University, much to his father’s disapproval. After many arguments, his mother eventually relented, providing the financial support he needed to follow his dream. Moving to New York was both thrilling and challenging for Parker, but life became even more complicated at 19 when he became a father to his daughter, Lily. Balancing university and fatherhood wasn’t easy, but when his younger sister moved to New York to help him, Parker was grateful for her support. He juggled classes, freelance work, and parenting and managed to graduate from university.

After graduating, despite his father's disapproval, Parker opened his own photography studio Ellis and Lillies in New York City, gaining a reputation for his portraits, urban shots and events photography.
